Hi everyone. Let me first apologize for not making it to the last meeting before my LOA. I had planned to announce my LOA at the meeting, but I was tied up on Monday doing things to prepare for the thing I'm going on LOA for.

Grand Admiral Kamin is getting married Saturday the 3rd of March

Some of you have probably heard me refer to my "wife" in the past and are wondering, "I thought he was married. I've actually been engaged for about a year and a half, and it's felt like I've been married, plus "wife" is easier to type than "fiance". 

I'm taking 2 weeks LOA because on Sunday we're leaving for Jamaica to bask in the sunshine, drink cocktails, and do all the other things newly married couples do. Hehehe.

Now, some business before I leave...

1. CompForce and TIE Ladders will run one extra week. The new deadline is Sunday, March 11. If you're smart, you'll take advantage of this extra time to get in your four challenge matches on top of your mandatory match. Playing is the only way to move up on the ladder.

2. The game editing competition will start up officially when I return. In the meantime, by all means, go ahead and get cranking on your TF, XvT, XWA, or JK project. I know some of you have already started on projects including a couple of JK levels, and that's fantastic. I'm really anxious to get this thing going and to see what the IO can produce.

3. Great job last Saturday in the Outer Rim Wars! We really showed a dramatic improvement in win ratio compared to the previous weeks. If we can start to get more than 6 or so people to turn out and play we could really become a force to be reckoned with! Those of you who are coming out and representing the IO, I salute you. Your service to the Imperial Order is highly appreciated.

Ok, I've still got a few loose ends to tie up before the big day, so some of you may hear from me between now and Saturday, but I'll definitely be away after that.
